What Is ISBA?

ISBA is the representative body for British advertisers which boasts nearly 450 companies and other organisations as membership.

Representing around £10 billion of annual marcoms spend, the majority of the UK’s leading advertisers have already recognised the valuable member service ISBA provides.

ISBA has a dual role: it protects the freedom to advertise responsibly, and enhances the effectiveness of its members by delivering substantial and tangible commercial benefits including cost savings, guidance and skills training.

It represents the collective voice of British advertisers in protecting advertising freedoms, fighting the advertiser’s corner on the public issues of the day with regulators, legislators and other decision makers.

Over the past few years, ISBA has achieved some real wins for the advertisers it represents - click here to see how.

Joining ISBA

ISBA membership is open to any advertiser through an annual subscription based on a minute proportion of their media spend. Being a member provides a great deal of tangible value.

Membership gives companies access to ISBA's wide-ranging practical guidance, from training to free legal and regulatory advice, as well as to regular updates on key issues, developments and trends in media, marketing and communications.

Members also have a say in setting ISBA's agenda and can use its considerable influence to tackle issues of specific concern to them. Even members who do not get involved directly in developing policy benefit from ISBA's work shaping the marketplace in which they operate.
